36 weeks

36 weeks and obviously not wearing a maternity sweater, haha!
So I guess I am just going to completely forget about keeping up with that questionaire I had originally started with. Oh well.
As of yesterday, all is well with Colton. Nice strong heartbeat and a little effacement has begun...however, Dr. Ramos said it will still be closer to the end of the year before C makes his appearance; which is just fine with us because we have a few things on the calendar that need to come and go before we are "prepared." One being our Houston baby shower which I am UBER excited about! Justin's mom and family are throwing this one for us with a few local friends thrown in the mix. I am excited to spend a little time with everyone before we are on baby watch the rest of the year. We are also packing up and getting ready to move next weekend! Hoorah! Everyone keeps asking if we are ready and have everything in order and I just chuckle to myself because we couldn't be farther from that. All I know is that I will be spending lots of time in the nursery getting everything cleaned, washed, hung up and put away.....and I am so excited to do so!
Let's see, I have reached the point where I am experiencing more pregnancy woes than usual.
:which include:
More sensitivity to people telling me I am big/asking how much longer I have
Heartburn
Leg cramps, which are mild but frequent
even more frequent potty breaks
bloody gums (weird I know)
I can't bend over to put my own shoes on...it is a comical sight
feeling breathless after simple tasks like the one above :)
crazy dreams!! losing the baby, leaving the baby at home or at the store etc.
soooo thirstyyy
the desperate need to NEST
lost of little fingers and toes kicking/poking my ribs and pelvis
Ok enough of the whinning. As for now that is all of the excitement happening with us Gray's.
Oh, one last thing, I finally changed my name to Gray! Yay! It only took me 2 months to get around to it and it was really not as big of a pain/expense I was expecting. The only downside to updating my driver's licence was getting a new picture taken with an added 30lbs to the body...not the best picture. At least all of my information is correct and current and it was nice to finally mark that off the "to do" list.
Ok, now that is all. Have a great week!
