a tiny update

I feel bad for not blogging and updating this thing, I have been the worst at it lately. But I will briefly try to get everyone up to speed on things.

Baby First

We are about 24 weeks along with our baby boy Colton and enjoying every minute of it!

I am finally showing and get the question of "When are you due?" regularly. I love being asked that because I LOVE to talk about Colton and how things are going.

He LOVES McDonald's french fries and Chik-fil-a chicken nuggets. Which I don't mind indulging him with. :) Don't worry we are still eating plenty of fruits and veggies and LOTS of salad and cereal.

Justin regulary kisses my tummy and says "hi" to colton....sometimes he gets a kick or two out of it. Justin can also feel c kicking after we eat something he likes. J loves feeling him move around and makes an, "oh" comment after each kick he feels. His movement has become a lot more frequent and easy to feel. He's quite the squirmer actually.

I am finding that my wardrobe is shrinking and it makes me a little sad. Sad because I don't really find it exciting to shop for maternity stuff, I like the clothes I have....and the sizes that go along with them.

I still feel good and am running/walking about 3 days a week. My time has slowly decreased and my ability to run the whole 3 mile loop is also on a decline as well. Don't worry the doc has still cleared me to run, it is a question I ask him frequently. I tend to be getting a little swollen or puffy after I have been out in the heat for a bit...my toes sometimes resemble little vienna sausages, haha. But not much else has changed besides the growing belly.

We haven't begun to "nest" yet or prepare a nursery for baby c mainly becuase we plan on moving to a larger apartment in December or January. Good timing huh?!

Random thought: I know personally about 10 friends/family members who are having or have had a baby this year and colton will be only the 2nd boy! I'm a little jealous because the girl stuff is soooooo stinkin' cute! But I am glad I am doing my part to keep the men alive, haha.

I can't believe that we are already so far along I keep wondering where the time has gone but I must say that I am getting really excited that our due date is quickly approaching. It's so weird to think that we are already on the downhill side of it all. I need to really enjoy these days more.

Now on to the Wedding....

Only 3 short weeks left until the big day and I can't wait! It seems as though most of the details are hammered out and now we are just waiting on the day to arrive.

I recently realized that my dress has pockets and I found that to be pretty exciting, haha. The smallest things bring a smile to my face!

My sister, amber has made all of the centerpieces and they look stunning. She is quite talented and brave for taking on the task. I can't wait to see all of the details pulled together.

I can't wait to see all of the family and friends that will be there with us and I will be thinking of those who cannot make it. :)

I don't have much else to report for now. But that is a little snapshot of what is going on with us...minus the pics.
