diaper bags

I do believe I have found my diaper bag as well. I love it because it doesn't look like your usual diaper bag but it still has all the functionality of one. It is a timi and leslie and their website has all kinds of cute, chic bags that are good for you stylish momma's and momma's to be. Oh and the price isn't too bad either, this bag (the Charlie 2) is $149.00.

the cutest hippo ever...

I need this pillow....the hippo to be specific.
On the reality show, "Bethany Getting Married?" she had her sweetest little bean resting on the froggy pillow and I was drooling over it! So, I told my sister about it and she found it online at Pottery Barn Kids.
Just in case any of you out there were trying to figure out what to get a pregnant lady (or me, haha), this is a brilliant gift.

P.S. don't you just love that there is a picture in this post! ahhhh, I do!

It's a...

BOY!!
Colton Royce Gray
We found on on August 6, 2010 that we would be welcoming a sweet little baby boy into our arms in January. We couldn't be more thrilled! We had both kinda agreed on really wanting an "older brother" first since we have every intention of have more children down the road. I absolutely loved this appointment minus the looonnnngggg anxious wait in the waiting room. I loved it so much because I was able to watch the little bean just squirm and wiggle for about 30 minutes while the technician gathered all of the measurements she needed to asses his growth. I found it just so amazing to watch him grab his toes, open and close his mouth and tuck his little hands under his chin and then put them over his face. He seemed so aware of his body already and he is still just the tiniest little thing! During all of the watching I thought I had spotted his little boy parts but wasn't too sure because let's face it this is my first experience with any of this and the sonograms (though far more advanced than what our parents are used to) aren't always the most clear pictures. So I was still unsure as to what to expect.
The technician then grabbed the Dr. to "OK" everything and after she did that she headed to the waiting room to grab Justin and his mom, Debbie, to tell us all the news.
As we were all there in the room the technician went through the basics of pointing out his little head, arms, legs, feet, bladder, heart, brain, the cord connection and then FINALLY pointed out his little manhood. Justin was overjoyed and said, "NO WAY!, SERIOUS?, SHUT UP!" I shot him a quick glance to be nice, haha, but I understood his excitement. Debbie was also taken over with a lot of joy and happiness. She immediately teared up and said, "You're having a little Colton!" I was smiling from ear to ear!! The technician then looked at a couple other things and then handed me a roll of pictures she had printed for us and we were on our way to our main Dr. to check out the details, which everything was perfectly in line with his birthday still remaining around the 4th of January. He was right on target to be at about 18 1/2 weeks, which I was at the time.
I am beyond excited that we are having a little boy and even more happy that he is healthy. I think it is so amazing how lucky we are to be able to be a part of parenthood and the growth of Colton. Just having the opportunity to have a child is such a blessing and I feel so lucky that our sweet boy has chosen us as parents. I thank God for him everyday because already in his short time with me he has changed my life. I am one lucky girl!
Sorry for the long post, can you tell I am HAPPY!?!
